5 JOURNAL TYPES

THAT CAN Transform YOUR LIFE

1. Journaling for Productivity & Goal Setting

The beauty of Bullet Journaling is Instead of purchasing an already set-up planner, the idea is to get a blank or dotted notebook to create calendars, to-do lists, habit trackers, and do some good ol’ goal-setting. This form of journaling can be so therapeutic. If you prefer a more minimalistic style, you can set up your spreads in a breeze. This practice can be time consuming, depending on how much detail you want to incorporate, but it is so worth it.

Check out this Youtube Channel for spread inspiration.

If you’re super busy most days and don’t have the time to create new spreads every month, we would love to recommend this journal to you. It’s called the Life Mastery Planner and you can find it on Amazon.

The great thing is, these planners come dated and undated for your personal preference. The undated is our favorite because we can start planning at any time of the year. This planner comes with so many great templates on creating a clear road map to completing your goals.

2. Gratitude Journaling

Gratitude: the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.

Gratitude has without a doubt, transformed our life. Reciting your blessings can elevate your mood and make your soul shine.

In this life, we are going to face hard times, it will rain. But let me remind you, there is always a rainbow after a storm. It is important to find the courage to cut through your deepest emotions and align with your highest self in the darkest of times. When we reflect on all that we have, rather than all that we lack, many more blessings seem to come about.

There is a book that I highly recommend to start a gratitude practice. It is called The Magic by Rhonda Byrne. It is a 28 day gratitude challenge that gives new and fresh ideas on what to be grateful for. You can purchase a copy by clicking on the button below.

My challenge for you is to physically write 5 things you are grateful for, every day for 7 days. Feel free to leave a comment down below if you’re trying this challenge & share how this 7 day challenge has benefited you!

3. Scripting/ Manifestation Journaling

What is scripting?

Scripting is a manifestation and Law of Attraction exercise where you describe your life as it would be had your manifestations and wishes come true. This is told by you in present tense, almost in story form and very detailed.

For example, do you want a new car? Visualize and write down how it feels to drive down the street in your new car. What do you smell? How does the steering wheel feel?

The goal is to be in the vibrational state of “already having” what you want, and how thankful you are for having it. By Universal law, what you put out will come back to you.

There have been so many times where we’ll look back at our old scripting journals and it always astonishes us on how much of what we wrote has actually happened!

My partner and I use this technique when we are looking for a new place to live. We will make a specific list of everything we would want in our new home, & rejoice as if we already had it. It has always worked! On one occasion, we manifested everything we wanted in less than 30 days.

Give this technique a shot. You deserve to give yourself permission to manifest your dreams into reality.

4. Physical Health

Keeping a food journal can be very beneficial when trying to achieve your health goals. When we take log of what we eat and drink, we tend to better understand our eating habits and patterns. We can recognize what we can leave out of our diet, and what we can substitute. Dedicating the time to keep track of your diet and exercise keeps you accountable to reach your goals. I best recommend doing this practice as you are on your path to better health. When eating healthy and having daily movement become a way of life for you, it is no longer as important to keep track.

And please give yourself grace when you fall out of practice. Your best will change from day-to-day. As long as you get back up and try again, that is all that matters.

5. Free Flow

Free flow journaling is so healing. Ideally you are pouring yourself into the pages of your notebook and releasing all that has been clouding your mind. Don’t know where to start? Ask yourself, “How am I feeling in this exact moment? Why?”

This helps us recognize things we need to work on to further our growth. Doing this practice at least once a month gives you the potential to heal old wounds and grow from your internal struggles. We are here in this lifetime to live out our full potential. make the decision to live your best life filled with abundance and joy.

It is up to you to do the work.
